There are several types of design of circular mesh vaults, which have been known and used for more than a century. The main feature of the design implemented in Yalta was the junction of individual elements with each other, which had to meet the requirements of versatility, ease of assembly, bearing capacity with different forces and very significant wind loads, for which about 8 solutions were developed and the optimal one was chosen. The modern design of the circular mesh vault in glued wooden structures with the use of curvilinear elements made it possible to obtain a very aesthetic interior of the sports facility.
