Volleyball arena

In the city of Kemerovo, there are several objects for various purposes with large-span glued structures at once. Volleyball "Kuzbass-Arena" was conceived as the main venue for the World Championship in volleyball in 2022. Double-hinged arches with a span of up to 70 m and a system of curvilinear purlins were used to cover the structure, while local snow loads due to the formation of snow “bags” on the complex roof surface reached more than 700 kg/m2.
